Emma Dunsford

Counsellor and Psychotherapist

About Emma

Hi, I’m Emma.
I’m an Integrative Relational Therapist, but most importantly I’m a human, who understands that being human can be hard sometimes.

As an Integrative Therapist, I am trained in various approaches, grounded in empathy, kindness and a genuine belief in the strength and potential of every client I meet. This also allows me to create a therapeutic space, tailored to your individual needs.

During sessions, we can explore any issues at your pace, uncovering insights and tools to help you face challenges. My role is to create a space to facilitate growth and empower you to make the changes that resonate with your true self.

Together, we’ll celebrate your victories, learn from the hurdles, and gradually build towards the life you envision for yourself.

Having been through therapy myself, I understand the importance of feeling heard and supported through difficult times, but I also know how difficult it may to reach out. To help you decide if you would like to work together, I am happy to offer a 15-minute, free consultation to discuss your needs and answer any questions.

I provide therapy for many different kinds of issues including:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Relationship Issues
  • Family Issues
  • Self-esteem
  • Loneliness
  • Mental Health
  • Inner Child

Whether you are struggling with low self-esteem, relationship troubles, parenting issues, or just want someone to talk to, I can offer a compassionate and understanding space, where your feelings are validated and heard.

Using an approach tailored to help you find the roots of difficult feelings, such as anxiety and overwhelm, I can help equip you with practical coping strategies to help you discuss and explore any difficulties you are currently facing.

I’m here to listen to your story without judgment and support you to the best of my ability.

We’ll explore the patterns and dynamics that have led to discord, and work on building bridges of understanding and empathy between you and your loved ones.
