Mother & Baby

There is nothing more exciting than welcoming a new baby to the family, then helping them grow and develop throughout their childhood.

To support your family through the early days of trying to conceive, the trials of pregnancy and birth, becoming new parents and raising children we have a wonderful range of classes and therapies on offer.

Please have a read through below and contact the organisers directly for more information.

Every family hopes that bringing a child into the world will be a simple, memorable journey and fortunately most of the time it is. However, if you need extra support, we’re confident we can help. If you can’t find what you’re looking for or if you need some guidance on what might help, please give our reception team a call and they can point you in the right direction.

Adventurous Baby Yoga

Suitable for babies from approximately six months onwards.

Designed exclusively by Liz, this class is specifically for babies who are roughly six months and older. In class, we focus on older babies’ developmental stages such as mimicking, sequencing, balance, movement and motor skills. The class includes massage, yoga poses and stretches, singing, and games. We also practice more daring moves including inversions, swings, and lifts, helping babies (and mums) to build confidence and most importantly have fun!

Postnatal yoga involves more dynamic sequences including an adapted version of a Sun Salutation, and we focus on alignment and strengthening the postnatal body, helping to meet the demands of carrying and lifting your growing baby.

Boys & Baby Yoga

Suitable from newborn to 18 months.

Designed with Dads in mind this class is open to any male family member or caregiver and their baby. The class is a blend of massage, yoga poses and stretches, singing, play, games and relaxation, all of which are excellent for baby development and is a fantastic opportunity to have 1:1 time with your baby which is great for bonding & building confidence.

For Dads the yoga is dynamic and maybe a little challenging – but there is the freedom to do as much as much or as little as you want. Yoga is fantastic for stretching out achy backs, arms and shoulders from carrying your little one, and re-engaging muscles you had forgotten you had! We also practice breathing and relaxation techniques which help you manage the day-to-day stresses of parenthood.
