I am committed to ongoing professional development and attend workshops, lectures and seminars regularly. I strongly believe that the relationship between counsellor and client is the key to allowing healing and change to take place. By hearing your voice and sharing your thoughts and feelings with me, we can work together to explore what has brought you to therapy and help you to find a way forward which is right for you.
Integrative Counselling
Sometimes life can be difficult – we can struggle with overwhelming feelings which make us feel anxious or low and it can be hard to see the way ahead. Maybe there is something specific such as a traumatic life event or a relationship where we need time to understand and process our feelings.
If this sounds familiar, my counselling approach can help you regain strength and control and see your choices more clearly. Counselling can help us understand why we are feeling as if life is a struggle and help us to start living in a way which is more true to ourselves.
My approach is warm and empathetic and I offer a safe space to explore feelings, seeking to understand your unique experience in an accepting and non-judgemental way.
Because everyone is unique, I practise an Integrative approach to counselling which brings together elements of different therapies to suit individual needs. This reflects my belief that there is no single way to understand another person and that, by seeking to understand and value your experience, I can provide the best therapy for you.
I offer short and long-term counselling, depending on your needs. Short-term counselling will focus on your immediate problems and help you find a way to manage them. Longer-term counselling helps you to have a deeper understanding of issues and, as we work together, to develop insights, understanding and self-acceptance.
I offer counselling to individuals from ages 18 upwards. Please note that I do not offer couples counselling.

My fee is £45 for a 50-minute session, payable at the end of each session.
I believe that it is important you feel comfortable talking to me and that you feel ready to come to counselling. For that reason, there is no charge for the initial assessment session.
