Benefits of therapy

Play Therapy helps children explore troubling, painful feelings by allowing them time to express themselves in a safe and contained way.  This helps the child to make sense of the past, cope with the future, change their behaviour and improve relationships with family and friends.

Specific conditions treatable

‘Hear For You’ specialises in helping children aged 3-16 years old who have a wide variety of emotional needs.  It could be they have trouble eating or sleeping, poor/low self-esteem, emotional or behavioural difficulties.  The child might have experienced loss, have witnesses violence, neglect or trauma.  Play Therapy can also aid ill or disabled children and help carers and siblings.
